What will a full factory reset do?
A factory reset is a process that restores your computer or device to its original factory settings. This means that all of your data, apps, and personal settings will be erased from the device, and it will be restored to the same condition as when it was first purchased. A Factory Reset will wipe out all data and restore your robot to its original settings. Your robot will be removed from your account, and all personal data and settings will be lost from your robot.A Robot Reboot will resolve many typical robot issues. It is used most often to clear an error from a robot if it doesn’t clear on its own through proper care and maintenance. A reboot is always safe and will not delete information such as maps, schedules, or other preferences.
How do I restart or reboot?
Go to Start , select the Power button, and then select Restart . Find the reset button on the rear of the unit. You will need a pen, a small screwdriver or anything that will fit into the recess to press the button. Disconnect the Gateway from the power supply. Press and hold down the reset button and reconnect the Gateway to the power supply.
