Is AeroGarden still a thing?
In a surprising turn of events, AeroGarden, the beloved brand that brought hydroponic gardening to countless homes, announced its return in Spring 2025. After closing its doors in late 2024, many assumed it was the end of an era. But now, AeroGarden is returning, promising a new chapter in indoor gardening. Product Summary: AeroGarden Harvest Lite in Cream, Soil-Free Indoor Hydroponic Garden with LED Grow Light for Year-Round Gardening of up to 6 Herbs and Vegetables.
How often do I need to change the water in my AeroGarden?
We recommend emptying the water from the bowl and refilling it with fresh water and Liquid Plant Food every 4-6 weeks to keep your plants healthy. Add Liquid Plant Food to the Bowl when you first plant your Seed Pod Kit and when the ‘Add Plant Food’ reminder starts to flash at you every 2 weeks. Follow directions on the Liquid Plant Food bottle for feeding amounts and top off the water level to the ‘Fill To Here’ line.
How long does AeroGarden last?
AeroGarden plants typically last for two months. Lettuce and greens sometimes last up to three months. Flowers take about three to four months to grow. After that, they last for up to two months. Your AeroGarden provides the perfect environment for your lettuce to thrive, giving you a bountiful harvest in just a few weeks. Get ready to crunch your way to salad perfection.
