You will know you have accomplished this when water runs out of the drainage holes at the bottom of the container. Over time, allow the growing medium to dry-out without applying additional water.
Is PRO-MIX HP good for seed starting?
It’s clean, porous, and has mycorrhizal fungi. I don’t think it’s very good on its own once plants get established past the seedling stage, I would use a mix with a little more peat and a little less perlite.
