Why are ZZ plants so expensive?

How to make ZZ plants grow big?

Is it better to propagate zz in soil or water?
The fastest I have gotten a Zz to root was my putting them in my fish tank to propagate had roots and was forming a rhizome within 4 weeks. Put it in water, roughly an inch deep. It does take FOREVER to get roots though so just keep adding water as necessary.
