Where does wintercreeper grow best?
This plant can tolerate a variety of conditions, including poor soil, full sun to dense shade, and a wide pH range. It does not do well in wet soils, however. Background: Also known as climbing euonymus, this vine was brought to the U. S. Asia to be used as an ornamental ground cover. Euonymus prefers full sun to medium shade, moist to dry-mesic conditions, and soil containing loam, clay-loam, sand, and gravelly material. It tolerates heavy shade, is pH adaptable, and is easily transplanted from woody cuttings and tolerates a variety of soils other than wet ground.
