What is the difference between netting and mesh?
Mesh fabric tends to be more durable and stretchy, while netting material is lighter and more rigid. Breathability, strength, and versatility are mesh fabric’s advantages, making it suitable for sportswear, bags, and industrial uses. Dyneema® Netting is the thinnest and strongest netting material on the market. Made of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, Dyneema Netting is up to 15x stronger than steel & up to 40% stronger than aramid fibers at equal diameters.
How to keep garden netting in place?
Buy netting pegs – perfect for securing the netting in place. There are a few to choose from depending on the netting you are using. Steel ground pegs are ideal for larger mesh netting along with plastic ground pegs or our innovative net claw pegs are another option. Debris netting can be secured using cable ties, netting clips, or ropes. For scaffolding, it’s common to fasten the netting along the top, bottom, and sides to ensure it stays in place in high winds.
