Personal life. She is married to writer Adam Nicolson, and has two daughters with him, plus three stepsons from his previous marriage. Does Sarah Raven still live at Sissinghurst?
Sissinghurst was inherited by their son Nigel Nicholson, who transferred the estate to the National Trust in 1969 although continued to live there. His son, Adam Nicholson still lives there with his wife, the horticulturist Sarah Raven and their two children. Eight professional gardeners, headed by a tough-looking woman named Alexei, keep the grounds in near-perfect condition, but it is too clean and perfect for Sissinghurst’s current inhabitants. Adam Nicolson, Nigel’s son, now lives there with his wife, Sarah Raven, and their two children.
