Does Scaevola need fertilizer?
Scaevola can tolerate windy conditions as well, but the more abusive the location, the more frequent you should water. Water daily — and twice daily in very hot weather. Fertilize with a water-soluble fertilizer every week. Avoid frequent wilt-downs as this can make the plant look sparse and ropey. Regular deadheading encourages continuous blooming. Prune your Scaevola back after the first flush of flowers to promote bushier growth and additional blooms. While Scaevola is generally pest-free, ensure good air circulation to minimize the risk of fungal diseases.
