What is the common name for Brunnera macrophylla?
Brunnera macrophylla, commonly called Siberian bugloss, is a rhizomatous, clump-forming, herbaceous perennial native to forested, mountain slopes in northeastern Turkey and the Caucasus. It is primarily grown in shady areas for its attractive heart-shaped, dark green, basal foliage. They will grow the fastest and strongest in rich soil.Do you cut back Brunnera in the fall? Cutting back old or damaged leaves in late fall or early spring promotes fresh growth. How to propagate Brunnera? Divide mature clumps in early spring or fall.
