Does Agastache grow fast?

After stratification, it takes the seeds 14 to 21 days to germinate. If you are lucky, the plant will bloom the first year so it may only take a few months to grow agastache from seed.Agastache, on the other hand, typically live for three to five years. If yours are only lasting one year, watch for too much water, whether it’s winter wetness, soil that’s too “heavy,” or too much watering during the growing season.
Does Agastache spread?
Agastache Spacing It spreads mainly by self-seeding late in the summer. These seedlings are easily removed and can be replanted in a more desirable location early in the spring. In general, most Agastache species are well-behaved and clump-forming. They spread gradually through rhizomes or self-seeding, but they typically do not exhibit the aggressive spreading behavior associated with invasive plants.
