How to take care of a Juncus?
Juncus effusus prefers full sun to part shade and -being a wetland grass – needs moist soil to thrive and can tolerate a few inches of water above its crown. It spreads through both rhizome division and self-seeding and can spread quite rapidly if uncontrolled. Juncus effusus requires moderate summer watering (irrigation), generally 1 – 4 times per month depending on the absorption rate and water retention capacity of the soil. Salt rush plants may need to have their roots in moist or wet soils.
