Are Cryptanthus air plants?
Unlike many bromeliads, Cryptanthus plants are generally terrestrial only, which means that they naturally grow in a soil medium rather than being air plants that can be mounted to a piece of bark or another object. The longer the pups are left attached to the mother plant, the faster they will reach their own maturity.Cryptanthus can live upto three years. They flower once, produce pup & then the cycle of the parent plant ends.
