Why is my Gtech battery not charging?
Firstly check that the on/off button is set to off before you attempt to charge the battery. The sweeper will not charge at all when the start button is ‘on’. Secondly, check that the Gtech charger is correctly connected to the sweeper. It sounds obvious but don’t forget to check it is plugged in and switched on. Overtime the run time of the battery in your Gtech sweeper may start to diminish. If this is the case then you will need to buy a replacement. At BuySpares we sell genuine replacement batteries and many other spares for a wide range of products.

Use a Trickle Charger You can use a trickle charger. Alternatively, a smart charger with a “recovery” mode will work. These chargers provide a very low current, which may help the battery to accept a charge slowly. Make sure the charger is designed for lithium-ion batteries and has overcharge protection. Try a Charging Session Allow the charger to power up the battery for up to eight hours. It should have a full charge by this time. If you notice that it’s still indicating a low status, it’s time to replace the battery. The cells can’t absorb the electrical energy as well as they used to do.
